Once the product is received by us and upon successful testing, we will intimate the customer about the further course of action, which would be as follows –
- In case of exchange, a replacement product will be despatched once the customer confirms the same.
- In case of refunds, the payment will be reversed to the bank account, the details of which the customer will provide vide email
- The refund will be processed immediately and should be in the customer’s bank account within 5-7 working days.
Refund will be processed only if the following conditions are fulfilled
- The product must be unused and should retain the Very Much Indian tag
- It shouldn’t be soiled, stained or have any kind of odour on it.
- The packaging and folding should be as received originally.
- The product must not be washed or dry cleaned.
- Our sarees are predominantly handloom/hand-woven products and hence there might be slight distinctions between the photos and actual product. Such instances will not be considered as defect/damage and hence will not be eligible for refund.
- Products purchased on any discount/offers/sale are NOT ELIGIBLE for Return/Exchange/Refund.
- Pre-ordered products are eligible for a refund only if received in a damaged condition.
- Exclusive sarees or sarees worth => Rs. 10,000 will not be eligible for refund/replacement unless there’s a manufacturing defect.
- Sarees above Rs. 50,000 will not be replaced or refunded.
- No return shall be entertained if the product is personalised prior to purchase.
- Orders can be cancelled until before the consignment is despatched. Once it is despatched the customer has to receive the consignment and initiate a return.
- If order is cancelled prior to despatch, 100% amount will be refunded to the customer.
- Refunds will be processed only via net-banking. No request for cash settlement will be entertained.
- The amount refunded will reflect in the customer’s bank account within 5-7 working days of refund initiation. This amount will exclude the cost of shipping.
It is our constant endeavour at Very much Indian to maintain the highest levels of quality when it comes to the products on sale. However there may be instances where there are slight distinctions between the product on display on our website and actual product received by the customer because each handmade product is unique. There may be minor discrepancies in colour and we request the customer to kindly bear with us at such instances.
Return and exchange policy
We have a 2 days return & 5 days exchange policy for our customers.
(The customized products may have some variations)

- To cancel an order please email us email@example.com or whatsapp no- 7410027616. on against the order number that you want to cancel.
- If you unfortunately decide to cancel your order,kindly do it before it is shipped.
- If the product is not as per your expectations, you have an option to raise a return request by emailing us on firstname.lastname@example.org or whatsapp no- 7410027616.
- Return request will not be accepted through any other medium like Facebook / Instagram or phone call.
- In case due to certain circumstances after raising the return request within 48 hours you are unable to return the shipment within the time frame no refund would be made. Only a credit note would be given.
- It is MANDATORY to take a receipt from the courier guy when you return the product which will act a proof for you in case there is lost shipment.
- Refund would be processed within 4-7 days after the product is received back to our warehouse in Pune.
Apart from condition reserved herein above, the following product shall not be eligible for return or replacement, viz:
- Any product that exhibits physical damage to the product
- If the saree has been ordered with fall and edging
- If the product is customized for you
- If the Return or Exchange is requested after 48 hours of receiving the shipment.
- If the product is made to order.
- If the product is purchased during sale, it will only be eligible for exchange.

- Once we have it with us, we will ship the replacement product to you within 5-7 working days. Please note VERY MUCH INDIAN will arrange for the pick up from your doorstep
- Exchange is not possible if the saree has fall and edging done to it
- NO EXCHANGE FOR CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS.
- IF you wish to exchange your product with a product of higher amount, a coupon code will be given to you of your previous amount. Your previous amount will be deducted from this new product’s charge.
If you want to exchange your product with another product of
lower amount, we would ship the product as soon as we receive it and the balance would be given in the form of credit note.
- Return or exchange of the exchanged product is not possible.
- No discount will be given on exchange orders.
How to use STORE CREDIT :
1) The VMI CREDIT will have 3 months of Validity from the date of creation.
2) The VMI CREDIT has to be used in one Go for the order .
3) You have to apply for the VMI credit on the checkout page.
4) Once opted for the VMI CREDIT you cannot opt for REFUND.
